Mind the gap PDF Print E-mail

It has been a long time since the last update, hasn't it? Long story short: I've tried to make TOGC my full-time job. So far that hasn't worked out quite as planned - last time I posted here I just quit my studies, but I still need a way to pay my rent, right? But that's more general TOGC territory, so let's talk Dungeon Bash!

Dungeon Bash: Urban

The first expansion, Dungeon Bash: Urban, has been in internal playtesting for quite some time now, and has been ready to move up to a more public testing. There's still some planning to do, but we will be looking for playtesters (outside of TOGC) very soon. This new site should help tremendously, as the playtesters will be able to log in and view all the material right here. Neat, huh?

Dungeon Bash POD

The print-on-demand (POD) version of Dungeon Bash came and went, and probably will be back. As most of you will know, the PDF ZIP is highly recommended, as it includes a ton of material that just won't fit into the POD. But because many of you prefer to use a "real" book at the gaming table, we're definetly trying to bring the POD back. But should we wait for DB 1.2? Speaking of which ...

Dungeon Bash 1.2

A new edition is coming, both of the d20 System and Dungeon Bash. The DB update should be ready by early 2009, because that's the time the new d20 rules become available to us. It might happen as early as August 2008, but right now it doesn't look like it, so don't hold your breath. In any case, this update will be free for all previous customers.

Web enhancements

There's still plans to do the "Drow Dungeons" web enhancements as previously announced, and it's the next thing on my to-do list after some Complete Cards updates and the semi-open playtest mentioned above. Somewhere in between I'll do a "House Rules" web enhancement, containing the best user-submitted and some of my own house rules. That way it should be easier to implement them into your games.

Dungeon Bash Contest

The Dungeon Bash Contest, detailed here (very soon it will get its own page with up-to-date rankings too), is still running, so why not submit your own house rules and photos? We are working on a way to let you submit your stuff right to this website, but for the meantime just send us an email as usual.

That's all for now. Thanks for your continued support. (And feel free to write short reviews of Dungeon Bash at the site you bought it and/or at the Dungeon Bash BoardGameGeek page - the game still needs 20 user ratings to get a rank there.)
