DB Blog
by Stefan Pietrazsak

9-10-2005: Free for All...
... who purchased Dungeon Bash. Yes, the topic today is the upcoming update of the DB core rules. So, what can you expect of that update? First, it'll include an errata (so if you've found any errors please report them). Nothing too spectacular yet, so let's continue.
Second, we'll add the whole set of DB cards: encounters, treasure and dungeon. If you don't like the tables for whatever reason you could use the cards instead. While they have their drawbacks (you'll need to print and cut them, and assemble the different decks for each adventure), they've got many things going for them: faster gameplay, all necessary info is right on the cards (creature stats, for instance).
Third, we'll add a chapter detailing all rules necessary for high level play.
All in all, you can expect one huge update. You'll be notified when it's out, and you'll receive a new download link.

Once the update has been published, we'll make a POD* version of Dungeon Bash. This book will include all the rules in a layout very similiar to the print PDF, but all tables necessary will be added in the middle (and not, for instance, as an appendix). That way you can easily remove the tables from the book.
Personally, I can't wait to see the gorgeous DB cover in print.
